We take your privacy very seriously. We work to ensure that your data is protected, and is only used for stated purposes, such as shipping your order out to you. Our practices comply with all relevant Australian privacy laws, and our practices and Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect changes in Australian privacy laws.

Throughout our Privacy Policy, “we” “us” and “our” refers to Koorie Prints

1. Personal information

Personal information about visitors to our site is collected only when knowingly and voluntarily submitted. For example, we may need to collect information such as your name, address, email and phone number to ship your order, or to respond to a query. We recognise that this data is sensitive, and all personal data will be handled in accordance with all Australian privacy laws.

    2. Your account

We collect your account information for internal use only, and we do not share this information with our third parties. When you log into your account or register you acknowledge all privacy statements in relation to your account. We do not sell your details nor do we amend your account details without your prior given consent.

      3. Using your information

The personal information and data that our visitors submit to our site is used only for the purpose for which it is submitted, or for such other secondary purposes that are related to the primary purpose, unless we disclose other uses in this Internet Privacy Policy, or at the time of collection.

        4. Disclosure

Apart from where you have consented or disclosure is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was submitted, personal information may be disclosed in special situations where we have reason to believe that doing so is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against anyone damaging, injuring, or interfering (intentionally or unintentionally) with our rights or property, users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. Also, we may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that the law requires disclosure.

          5. Collecting Information from Users

            5.1. IP Addresses

Our web servers gather your IP address to assist with the diagnosis of problems or support issues with our services. Again, information is gathered in aggregate only and cannot be traced to an individual user.

            5.2. Cookies and Applets

We use cookies to provide you with a better experience. These cookies allow us to increase your security by storing your session ID and are a way of monitoring single user access.
This aggregate, non-personal information is collated and provided to us to assist in analysing the usage of the site.

            6. Access to Information

6.1. We will take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information which we hold about you, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. If, at any time, you discover that information held about you is incorrect, you may contact us to have the information corrected.

6.2. In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us.

            7. Links to other sites

We provide links to websites outside of Koorie Prints website, as well as to third party websites. Some examples of third party websites may include Instagram and Facebook. Before disclosing your personal information on any other website, we advise you to examine the terms and conditions of using that web site and its privacy statement.

            8. Security

8.1. We strive to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personal information submitted to our sites, and we review and update our security measures in light of current technologies. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure.

8.2. However, we will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information you may transmit to us or from our online products and services. Once we do receive your transmission, we will also make our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems.

8.3. In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us. 9. Shopify Customer Security

Shopify provides a secure shopping experience for our customers by keeping their security systems up to date with industry best practices.

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is an information security standard that organisations must adhere to when handling credit card and debit card information. The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council created this standard to protect cardholder data used for online payments.

Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant, meeting all six categories of PCI standards:

            • Maintain a secure network
            • Maintain a vulnerability management program
            • Regularly monitor and test networks
            • Protect cardholder data
            • Implement strong access control measures
            • Maintain an information security policy

This compliance is extended to all online stores powered by Shopify.

            10. Credit Card Details

Credit Card details are only used for the processing of payment and will be discarded once payment is processed.

            11. Amending this Privacy Policy

At Koorie Prints, we reserve the right to alter, amend or change this Privacy Policy at any time for any reason. Amendments may be to reflect changes in Australian privacy laws, or to align with new or updated practices and processes.

            12. Problems or questions

If we become aware of any ongoing concerns or problems with our website, we will take these issues seriously and work to address these concerns. If you have any further queries relating to our Privacy Policy, or you have a problem or complaint, please contact us at hello@koorieprints.com.au.
